Context drill

Volume and Range Reading

Read whether a swing is travelling on expanding range and honest volume, or drifting on thin participation.

3 weekly sessions, 2 hours each · 8 students per cohort · GEL 640

Swing holds overnight. Thin afternoon ranges in local names can look like a clean break on a close-only print. This drill trains you to pair range (high minus low) with the volume column on the same bar and to notice when a break occurs on a shrinking body. We use exchange volume where the print provides it and range-only notes where volume is not trustworthy. You leave with a short list of ‘do not treat this as a swing’ conditions rather than a volume indicator recipe.
