What a missed trigger is for
Entry Trigger Rehearsal keeps a miss log. The trigger was a four-hour close above a marked shelf; the close never came; the student did not enter. Two days later the name runs. The amateur edit is to say they ‘would have chased.’ We forbid that sentence in the room.
The log has three columns: planned trigger, what actually printed, and whether the invalidation was touched. That is the entire story. If you want a second chance, you write a new plan on a new packet. You do not amend the old card.
Over a month the log shows whether you trigger too early, too late, or in places the weekly bias never supported. That is the only use of a miss. It is not a mood.
